This is why we stopped the deployment (the c-suite wanted it) and after thorough testing and wasting a LOT of time and MONEY the deployment/testing was stopped because of these above issues. They simply do not work everything from VPN client to A/V to file shares/network shares/printing/etc. I have used Mac's in a windows domain environment. There is no real benefit to the business in getting a MAC over a PC, but there is added overhead. Ĝompatibility between us and any vendor using a MAC would not be an issue as files are application specific and not operating system specific.With our PC’s our vendor can come and make the repairs onsite and if needed, we can easily assign another device to the user without compromising the user experience. In case of any issues with the device, we would need to ship it to an authorized repair center which would leave the user unable to work.Integrating the MAC to our Windows environment, while possible, is not streamlined and will require some minor changes to our backend.We would need to procure MAC versions of the existing security solutions to accommodate one device.
